Spicy Sour Gochujang Tofu Soup Ingredients

1 packed tofu (firm or silky).
2 onion (thinly sliced).
3 gochujang paste (you can find it in any Asian store or Smith’s store).
4 ginger powder (you can use the fresh ginger slices).
5 garlic powder (you can reply with minced garlic).
6 paprika powder.
7 soy sauce.
8 mushrooms powder (optional).
9 cayenne powder(optional, you can skipped if you don’t like spicy).
10 ground black pepper.
11 Salt.
12 lemon or 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional).
13 water (veggies or non veggies broth).
14 Green onion for garnish.
15 Sesame oil.
16 Oil.

Cooking Step by Step

Step 1 Using a pan heat up little oil, then sauted the onion..
Step 2 Add ginger, garlic, black pepper, gochujang paste, paprika, mushrooms powder, cayennes pepper and water..
Step 3 Let them boil and simmer until the gochujang is dissolved..
Step 4 Add tofu, soy sauce and salt to taste. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Lastly add a few drops of sesame oil and lemon juice, then turn off the heat and serve. Don’t forget to sprinkle green onion as a garnish. Enjoy!.
