African Cuisine: Porridge yam garnished with scent leaf


Porridge yam garnished with scent leaf Ingredients

1 tuber of yam.
2 Little Palm oil.
3 Crayfish.
4 Salt and seasoning.
5 Scent.
6 Pepper sauce.
7 Dry fish.
8 medium sized Onions.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1 Peel the yam and cut into medium size. Wash very well and set aside..
Step 2 Wash your dry fish to get rid of sand and set aside. Wash your scent leaf slice it and set aside.
Step 3 Put water on fire and allow it to boil, add salt and the washed yam.
Step 4 Allow it to boil for some time, add the crayfish, seasoning cubes dryfish, palm oil and the pepper sauce. Use your spatula to turn it and cover it..
Step 5 Add the sliced onion and scent leaf allow it to simmer for 3 mins.
Step 6 Oops your porridge yam is ready.
