African Dish: Strong Mussel Soup
Strong Mussel Soup Ingredients

kilo of mussels. |

red onions. |
3 |
minced ginger. |
4 |
of crushed garlic. |
5 |
clusters of chili leaves. |
6 |
canola oil. |
7 |
of water or more if desired. |
8 |
ground black pepper (optional). |
Cooking Guidances
Step 1 |
Wash mussels with tap water then soak for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain when ready for cooking.. |
Step 2 |
Heat a large pot under low to medium heat. Pour cooking oil and simmer garlic, onions and ginger. Do not burn garlic.. |
Step 3 |
Add water, continue to simmer then pour mussels and bring to boil or until mussels are cooked.. |
Step 4 |
Add ground black pepper (optional).. |
Step 5 |
Pour chili leaves and mix then cover pot. Turn off heat and wait for 2 minutes before serving.. |
