African Dish: Mussel Fry


Mussel Fry Ingredients

1 Mussel Cleaned.
2 Onionchopped -.
3 Ginger -.
4 Garlic -.
5 Chilli Powder  -.
6 Turmeric powder.
7 Salt -.
8 Pepper powder -.
9 Tomato -.
10 Rice flour -.
11 Garam masala -.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1 Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds..
Step 2 Add sliced onion and curry leaves..
Step 3 When onion becomes soft add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min..
Step 4 Add all masala, salt and sauté for a min or two..
Step 5 Add diced Tomato and stir until the gravy gets thick.
Step 6 Add mussel, cover with a lid stirring occasionally.
Step 7 After 10-15 minutes, add rice flour and heat for another 5 minutes.
Step 8 Enjoy Mussel fry with hot rice or roti :).
