Afang Soup recipe at long last… Yay!!! Afang Soup is one of the most popular traditional Nigerian soups. It is very nutritious, medicinal and native to the Efik people of Nigeria. You can simply cook Afang Soup by following 8 ingredients and only 5 steps. Here is cooking guidance how you can easily make that.

Ingredients

1 Approximately 1 kg of goat meat.
2 Approximately 5 of fresh pepper.
3 Take to taste of Salt.
4 Approximately 3 cube of knorr.
5 Approximately 1/2 cup of crayfish.
6 About 1 of cksp palm oil.
7 You need 2 bunch of waterleaf washed.
8 It’s 2 cups of slice okazi leaf (a fang leaf).

Afang Soup is of Nigerian origin-a much-celebrated recipe from the efik ethnic group in the southern part of Nigeria -and often served at ceremonial occasions such as weddings. Afang soup; a delight to behold and to eat. It is a special delicacy of the Efik and ibibio tribes of Nigeria. Some parts of Cameroon bordering that part of Nigeria also enjoy this delicacy.

Cooking Step by Step

Step 1 Wash goat meat and per boil with pepper, salt and knorr cube.
Step 2 Blend okazi and crayfish with the dry miller set aside.
Step 3 Once the goat meat is tender add palm oil remaining pepper and knorr cube, stir and cover pot for about 3 minutes.
Step 4 Add water leaf and allow it simmer for 5 minutes afterwards add okazi leaf stir and let it simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes then turn off the heat..
Step 5 Serve with fufu, eba and co.
