1 Sambar Dal.
2 Vegetables Cut into pieces.
3 Salt.

7 asafoetida.

9 Curry Leaves.
10 Tamarind paste.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1 Cook the sambar dal in a pressure cooker..
Step 2 Cook the vegetables separately..
Step 3 Combine in a vessel and cook in medium flame..
Step 4 Add in the sambar powder, tamarind juice and Asofieteda piece..
Step 5 When it comes to a boil pop thr mustard seeds and curry leaves..
Step 6 This is a staple dish which is usually found in all South Indian houses..
Step 7 You could serve this with Rice, Pappad and Mango Pickle..
