Ingredients

1 Prepare 500 gm of besan(gram flour).
2 About 500 gm of sugar.
3 Prepare 5 tbsp of Ghee.
4 Take 1 cup of milk.
5 About 1 tsp of Elaichi ( cardamom)powder.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1 Take 2 cups besan and add 5 tbsp ghee. Mix this well..
Step 2 Now add 1 cup slowly and gradually into a semi soft dough..
Step 3 It's ready and now keep it at rest for 15 minutes..
Step 4 After 15 minutes, we made muthiyas with the dough…
Step 5 Now take ghee in pan for frying these muthiyas..
Step 6 Now fry these muthiyas in ghee. Fry till they get golden brown in colour on low flame. Then after frying remove them in a bowl..
Step 7 Let them cool for a while till then make sugar syrup for barfi…
Step 8 For sugar surup we take 500 gm sugar and 1 cup water in a vessel. Then we mix them till the sugar dissolves. Make do taar ki chashni. Add ealichi powder and mix well.
Step 9 Now break the muthiyas into smaller pieces. Then in mixer grinder grind muthiyas into fine mixture..
Step 10 Now take a sugar syrup in a pan. Now add the muthiya powder in sugar surup. Then add milk powder to it. Mix all these ingredients together..
Step 11 Now take a greased tin or tray to set the barfis. Spread the mixture evenly in the tin. Then garnish it with some almonds and cashew nuts..
Step 12 Leave it for about an hour so as to it set the barfi properly. After one hour cut the barfis in equal pieces..
Step 13 And here is our PERFECT BESAN BARFI Ready at home to be enjoyed..!!!.
